The Eola Heights Private Garden Tour offered a rare glimpse into the hidden gems and private gardens of one of Orlando’s oldest neighborhoods. I am not sure how I managed, but Mike and I spent a couple of hours on Sunday afternoon visiting some of these special spaces. A few images to summarize the day:
The collection of orchids and bromeliads are perfectly placed under this ligustrum tree.
With no lawn in the courtyard, this fountain becomes the focal point with low maintenance groundcovers and plants throughout to keep the lush feel.
The photo doesn’t do justice to this amazing little backyard. The pool tucked in this small space was beautiful and complimented the outdoor room on the home.
Ceramic containers with tropical water lilies were quite striking along the drive.
It seemed visitors couldn’t get enough of these cobalt blue planters filled with tropical water lilies.
Who knew I needed old shutters??? This lovely little porch was filled with orchids and airplants.
What a perfect little vignette. This potting bench was a really beautiful focal point and was filled with all of those little things that you want but never know where they will go.
